I am blessed to be the husband of Carissa and the father of our 4 children. God graciously brought us to Engleside in 2005 right after I graduated from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary. I love being a pastor to our church family and preaching the gospel. I am far from perfect but thankful that God is continuing to grow me through His Word. It is a sweet thing to be on a journey together as we seek to be more like Jesus Christ. In my down-time, I love to hang out with friends, go hunting, or cheer on my Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions.
Keith Paddock
Administrative Pastor
God led me to Engleside in 1992 after seven years of teaching music in a Christian school in central Illinois. He blessed my wife Paula and me with three daughters and eventually led me into school administration at ECS. I completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from Bob Jones University in 2012. I enjoy serving our student body and watching our students mature, ministering in music with my wife and leading adult Bible studies in church. I enjoy listening to classical music during my daily commute to school. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and playing Wordament!
Trevin Ascher
Assistant Pastor
The Lord in his gracious providence allowed my wife, Lydia, and I to begin ministering at Engleside in the summer of 2021. In 2020, Lydia graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, while I graduated with my Master’s degree in Ministry Studies from Bob Jones University. As we minister in the children and youth ministries at Engleside, we are excited to see hearts and minds shaped by the love of Jesus. We look forward to seeing how God will use us and continue to grow us by His Word. Lydia and I love to read, play board games, and hang out with friends (preferably over coffee).
