For those who've committed or are interested in working in our Awana program, we will meet on August 28th at 6:30pm to map our the year.
Join us for a time of equipping from God's word for all ages. Our pre-k and elementary students are going through the story of the Bible in our curriculum from Truth78, while our teens are studying through a series on Ruth. The adults will be taught by Pastor Keith.
The youth group (7th-12th grade) will meet to bake cookies and create packages filled with cookies, treats, and notes for Engleside's shut-ins. We will also provide the teens a meal as we finish.
Teens are invited to the annual Christmas Party at the church Dec. 14th from 6-9pm. Teens are encouraged to bring a white elephant gift (around $5-10 in value) as well as a sweet or salty snack to share. The theme of the party is Hawaiian, so teens are encouraged to dress accordingly and appropriately.
As we close out the year at Engleside in our Student Sunday School program, we will be teaching our elementary students from a curriculum from Truth78, which provides robust discipleship to help children set their hope in God. On May 10th, the youth group will go to Old Town to pass out tracks and witness as opportunities arise. Afterwords we'll plan to get ice cream, so teens will want to bring about $7-10. We'll meet at the church at 6pm and return around 8:30pm.
